We began the Athletics Chat podcast in February 2020.

Weekly, Stuart Weir, RunBlogRun senior writer for Europe, and Larry Eder, editor for RunBlogRun, would spend 40 minutes discussing the major issues of the day, week, month, you name it!

We have begun season 3, and this is episode 101.

We discuss this week: the British Athletics Selection process, Bobby Kersee’s discussion about Athing Mu and Budapest, some of the top British Athletics going to Budapest, and some of our favorite athletes!

Our concern with British Selection is this: Stuart Weir thinks that British Athletics has a program that works and should stick to it. Larry Eder thinks that WA inviting athletes gives British Athletics a chance to innovate if they so desire. We agree to disagree.

On Bobby Kersee, we agree that a coach should look out for his or her athletes, but we also are concerned with how the perception of this approach has been taken.
